As a Florida native who has cherished nearly 50 years of living at the beaches, I draw endless inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding me. From my studio in Jax Beach, I have dedicated over 20 years to the craft of stained glass, creating pieces that range from large-scale custom installations for both residential and commercial spaces to small-scall glass gifts. My work has been commissioned nationally and has received several awards. I find joy in incorporating elements such as shells and seaglass-into my creations. This passion for collecting is reflected in each piece, merging my deep connection with coastal living and my artistic vision.
Rebecca had been a Marylander most of her life until purchasing a
home in Jacksonville in 2019. She earned her BFA from Syracuse

passion for ceramics and photography. Her favorite clay method is slab building with templates in addition to sculpting with pinch and coil techniques. She loves to experiment with different surface designs including texture, carving, and stamping.
Rebecca’s love of the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay prompted her new business @BeachToBayClay. Her art embodies marine life and inspiration from living on the East Coast.

My earliest memories of making jewelry go way back to childhood. Growing up in Neptune Beach, we lived just one block from the ocean. I spent many hours combing the shore for shells with holes in them so I could string them into necklackes for friends. Fast forward many years later while attending John Campbell Folk School, I stopped by the jewelry studio to see what they were making. I was soon hooked on the coors and possibilities of mixing semi-precious stones with leather and jewelry cording. I'm influenced by designers Candie Copper, Sandra Younger, and the various artists in the Jewelry Affaire magazine. I especially love working with pearls and leather cording. I also enjoy repairing and re-stringing constume jewelry for clients. I've been at Seaside Shoppes for more than 9 years and it is a pleasure to be a part of a great group of artists and vendors.
