I started painting 10 years ago, and my first pieces were 5x5 inch miniatures of Key West cottages, inspired by the beauty of the Florida Keys. Over time, I’ve expanded my Jacksonville Beach art to include reclaimed wood and natural items like miniature driftwood. Some of my work features more unusual animals, such as my Beluga Whale, and I enjoy painting angels and lovely crosses. I describe myself as a hobby artist, as art truly feeds my soul. You can find me, along with other local artisans, at Seaside Shoppes on Tuesday mornings!

Aimee McGrath joined Seaside Shoppes in 2022, infusing her love for creativity and craftsmanship into the Jacksonville Beach art scene. Through her brand, Soul Designs by Aimee, she handknits and crochets unique bags, cozy blankets, and various other handmade treasures that aim to bring warmth and joy into everyday life. 

When she’s not crafting with yarn, Aimee is the owner and founder of Soul Creative, a digital marketing agency located in Neptune Beach. With over 20 years of experience in branding, storytelling, and design, she supports local artisans and businesses in shining online with strategy-driven marketing.

Whether showcasing her handmade pieces at Seaside Shoppes or working with clients at Soul Creative, Aimee’s passion lies in helping people feel connected, inspired, and seen.

Shannon is the owner of Mystic Cornhole Company in Jacksonville, FL, where she celebrates the creativity of local artisans. She began crafting coastal art pieces from leftover pallets after noticing a surplus at her shop. With her adept skills and handy tools, she cuts all her designs by hand using a jigsaw. Passionate about her craft, Shannon enjoys experimenting with various techniques like painting, staining, and burning wood. In 2023, she became part of the Seaside Shoppes co-op, which allowed her to expand her offerings to include furniture refurbishing alongside her unique cornhole boards and bags.

I spent over 40 years in the education field. Towards the end of my career, I began making jewelry as gifts for friends and family. Upon retiring, I found myself seeking my next adventure in life. Since I loved making jewelry, I thought maybe others would appreciate purchasing my creations. As a regular customer at Seaside Shoppes, I decided to show the manager some of my work during one of my shopping trips, and to my delight, I was accepted! I revel in creating unique pieces I've never tried before, which led me to branch out into making lanyards, beaded pens, eyeglass holders, garden stakes, keychains, and more. As a proud member of the Jacksonville Beach art community, I am always ready for a challenge and excited to join fellow local artisans.

Patty Beitler and Mary Clare Coyle formed a lasting friendship 22 years ago while working together in the virtual education field. As creative individuals who love Jacksonville Beach art and the beach lifestyle, they wanted to infuse that passion into their creations. Their shared love for entertaining led to the creation of their signature "Resin Wave Charcuterie Boards," making it an obvious choice. In 2023, they began selling these unique resin boards at Seaside Shoppes, and their offerings have since expanded to include wine glasses, coasters, wine stoppers, TV trays, and more! Be sure to check out their Facebook page @Crafting by the Sea. The resin charcuterie boards and wine glasses inspired Patty and Mary Clare to find locally sourced dip and drink mixes, enhancing the items available at their space within Seaside Shoppes. Mary Clare, a Jacksonville native, and Patty, who has embraced Jacksonville Beach as her home for 22 years after moving from Jersey, are both passionate Jaguar fans. Go Duval! Their commitment to the community includes volunteering and fundraising for Friends of Jacksonville Animals and the Live Like Larry Foundation.

According to my Instagram bio, Happily Handmade by Robin, I am "a volleyball coach taking a crafting sabbatical." After coaching and playing volleyball in the greater Jacksonville area and along the beaches for over 25 years, many in that community may not know about my passion for DIY and crafting. A few years back, I "retired" from coaching to explore my love for creating macrame. I enjoy making macrame pieces inspired by treasures from the beach and nature, and I love repurposing vintage and used items into functional Jacksonville Beach art for your home. Most of my pieces can be custom-made in nearly any color, and with enough notice, I can accommodate special orders upon request, making my work a unique offering among local artisans at places like the Seaside Shoppes.

Judy grew up in the Midwest, and after moving around the East Coast for a few years, she finally settled in Jacksonville almost 30 years ago. A lifelong enthusiast of various crafts, Judy seized the opportunity to delve deeper into her passion for mosaic art after retiring a few years back. She enjoys creating one-of-a-kind pieces on diverse surfaces, from small ornaments and coasters to large concrete benches. As a proud member of the local artisans at Seaside Shoppes, Judy happily works most Friday afternoons, enjoying the chance to connect with customers and enhance their Jacksonville Beach art shopping experience.

I started acrylic pouring three years ago, and my work is constantly evolving! I love pouring on canvas and have been working on larger canvases. Over the past year, I've delved more into resin and even started creating jewelry. I continue to produce popular coasters as well.
